What an AMAZING start to 2021!
So us, just like most were a little reluctant to open that door to 2021 not knowing whether there was a monster on the other side of the door! Suffice to say, it was not scary at all! OK, it wasn't scary but it has become our nature right now to kind of look around the corner first before making a move.
With all of that being said, we came out ready to go! The first week of the new year, we managed to be on WSMV's Big Joe on the Go (thanks again, Joe!) segment that Wednesday morning, albeit really early for some, we had a great group rally around us, showed up, and made it the best morning of our new year! Who knew that being up at the crack of dawn to be on TV was going to be as much fun as it was. We had an absolute blast! For those of you who missed it, we're so very proud that we're going to re-post the videos here for you to see.
The second week of January was just as good! We had our first Wine Wednesday of the year, and it was better than expected! Folks got to come out and taste two reds and one white, paired with multiple charcuterie boards, stuffed mushrooms, and spinach & artichoke dip. We hope that this picks up some momentum because we want to make heavier appetizers, and pair them accordingly. If you haven't been, or you're curious, just plan a Wednesday to come and take a load off. The only thing that we ask is that you book/reserve online. This is so that we have an accurate head count because everything we make at Black Diamond Culinary is purchased fresh for the event. Nothing we have is frozen, only fresh! If we have a accurate headcount, we can cook a proper amount for all! If we DO have bookings on a Wine Wednesday (a visible count on the booking calendar) and you're still unsure if you want to come, you can purchase your ticket at door that evening. However, if we DO NOT have any bookings, we will wait until the following Wednesday. If you like wine, and tapas, this evening is for you... then you're half-way there!
We're gearing up for a month of Valentine's dinners! We understand a lot do not like to get out the evening of the 14th, so we've just decided that the entire month is dedicated to all of the Valentine's out there. We've filled our calendar (on our site- https://www.blackdiamondculinary.com/calendar, and under 'Events' on our Facebook page- https://www.facebook.com/blackdiamondculinary/events/?ref=page_internal) with a description of what we're cooking for the month of February. Let me tell you this, it doesn't matter which evening you pick because everything on the menu for the month is exquisite! No one will leave hungry! Just when booking, please be sure to notify us of any allergies. We want to make sure that your evening is stress free and relaxing!
